What CRS Guard does
A saved profile
Save your calculator answers and a few key dates once. CRS Guard uses them to work out when your score or eligibility changes. Update them whenever your situation changes.
Reminders before dates that change your score or eligibility
Emails 90, 30 and 7 days before:
- birthdays that lower your age points
- the end of a language test result’s 2-year validity
- the end of an educational credential assessment’s (ECA) 5-year validity
- the 12-month expiry of your Express Entry profile
Plus an email on each anniversary of your Canadian work start date, when another year of experience can change your points.
Recalculation when the CRS formula changes
When IRCC changes the CRS points grid, CRS Guard recalculates your saved profile under the new grid and emails you the change as “was X, now Y”. The first change is the grid that takes effect on November 3, 2026.
What it does not do
- No immigration advice. CRS Guard reports dates and estimated scores calculated from rules IRCC publishes. It does not tell you which steps to take. DrawRelay is not an authorized immigration representative.
- Nothing done on your behalf. It does not create, submit or update an Express Entry profile or any application, and it never asks for your IRCC account sign-in.
- No guarantee of an invitation. Only IRCC decides scores, eligibility and invitations. An estimate, a reminder or an alert does not guarantee an invitation to apply.
- Not a government service. DrawRelay is independent and not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or any government.
Price, renewal and refunds
- Price
- CA$29.99, paid once, in Canadian dollars. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout.
- Length
- 6 months (183 days) from the day of payment. Buying again while a pass is active adds 6 months to the end of it.
- Renewal
- None. Pool Pass is not a subscription, and you are not charged again unless you buy another pass.
- Refund
- Write to hello@drawrelay.com within 14 days of payment for a full refund, no questions asked. It goes back to your original payment method, and CRS Guard stops when it is processed.
- Payment
- Handled by Stripe. DrawRelay never sees or stores your card details.
What is stored
- For the purchase: your email address, the amount and currency, the payment date, the date your pass ends, and Stripe reference numbers used to match refunds.
- For CRS Guard: the calculator answers and the dates you enter (date of birth, language test dates, ECA date, Express Entry profile submission date and Canadian work start date).
- Never: card numbers, identity documents or your IRCC account sign-in. Profile values are not sent to analytics, and nothing is sold.
Details, retention and your rights: privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
When do the six months start?
On the day of payment, for 183 days. If you already have an active pass, the new 6 months are added to the end of it.
Will I be charged again?
No. Pool Pass is a one-time payment with no automatic renewal and no subscription. To keep CRS Guard after your pass ends, you can buy another one.
How do I sign in after paying?
A one-time sign-in link is emailed to the address you entered at checkout. There is no password. You can request a new link from the sign-in form at /guard at any time.
How do refunds work?
Write to hello@drawrelay.com within 14 days of payment for a full refund, no questions asked. The refund goes back to your original payment method, and CRS Guard stops when it is processed.
How are reminder dates worked out?
From the dates you enter and the validity periods IRCC publishes: 2 years for language test results, 5 years for an educational credential assessment and 12 months for an Express Entry profile. Check the documents themselves for the exact dates that apply to you.
What happens when my pass ends?
CRS Guard reminders and recalculation emails stop. Free draw alerts keep working if you signed up for them. Nothing renews and nothing is charged.
Do I need Pool Pass to use the calculator?
No. The CRS calculator, the Express Entry draw tracker and free email alerts for new rounds stay free.
Is CRS Guard immigration advice?
No. It reports dates and estimated CRS scores calculated from published rules. Only IRCC determines your score, eligibility and invitations.
Pool Pass opens soon. Until then, the CRS calculator and the draw tracker are free.
